Unhappy RE: Diastat Acu Dial

This is new to me. I take Diazepam orally but I have a complicated condition in which I think taking this new medicine as directed might work better. But....there's a catch, I've had a total proctocolectomy. Therefore having no rectum nor any large bowel. I do have a very small opening in which the meds could be administered but I'm just wondering if anyone has had this situtation. I get very little aborbtion orally since most meds pass so quickly I was just wondering if this seems logical to insert this as directed, even with an extremely small area rectally. If you have any info. please write back with any help. Thanks, and sorry for such graffic details. P.S. I also hope I spelled the meds. correct.
