Question about birth control.

Hey everyone.
I was hoping someone on here might be able to answer a question for me. I've been taking Aviane birth control for over 6 months now, for menstural reasons. My doctor did say it was a lower grade/lower dose. I've been unable to contact her and ask this.. but does that mean I have less protection with getting pregnant because it is a lower dosage? A reply would be lovely, folks. =]

No, the lower dose works as well as the higher doses without the same side effects.
