I am looking for information on the difference in the efficacy and deliverance of the medication via capsule vs coated. It is not a ER pill, I have taken Neurontin for several years for my Multiple Sclerosis, and My husband was recently prescribed the 300mg capsules, taking 1 Am and 2 HS. He took the 800mg after asking his physcian to change it to only taking it QD. He took the mediciation for 9 days and is now slurring his speech, his memory is affected and is fine for 4 hours after he takes it then he becomes lethargic, tired and very irratible.

I have seen several ads recently regarding Neurontin and side effects but they do not list what they are. I am worried that he is having an adverse reaction to this medication. Any information would be greatly appreciated
