Husband is chronic pain patient living in Ohio with out of state Workman's Comp Apparently Ohio Pain Clinics do not accept out of state workman's comp. He has chronic back pain caused by a botched up fusion surgery from 1988. He has had 7 back surgeries and 2 neck surgeries; several of them fusions.
His WC case is open with a case manager. Now we have moved to Ohio and no one will accept him as a patient. He is unable to work without pain management so we don't have other health insurance.
I don't know where to turn. He is at his wits end. It is dead end after dead end whenever he gets a referral.
He is in his 50's and not an abuser. Just in pain and needs help. Does anyone know if this is a law in Ohio to not accept out of state WC? I am thinking of maybe going to Pennslyvania since it is less than an hour away.
Anyone living in this area know anything about Ohio and Workman's Comp?
