Apparently Ohio Pain Clinics do not accept out of state workman's comp. He has chronic back pain caused by a botched up fusion surgery from 1988. He has had 7 back surgeries and 2 neck surgeries; several of them fusions.

His WC case is open with a case manager. Now we have moved to Ohio and no one will accept him as a patient. He is unable to work without pain management so we don't have other health insurance.

I don't know where to turn. He is at his wits end. It is dead end after dead end whenever he gets a referral.

He is in his 50's and not an abuser. Just in pain and needs help. Does anyone know if this is a law in Ohio to not accept out of state WC? I am thinking of maybe going to Pennslyvania since it is less than an hour away.

Anyone living in this area know anything about Ohio and Workman's Comp?
