Heart patients and vacation

My husband was admitted last Tuesday (10th)and this Tuesday (17th)he had an angiogram. At the same time, the doctor placed stents in two of the arteries and one baloon in a minor artery. We had previously booked our vacation for September 25th to Mexico. Would anyone know whether one is allowed to take a vacation and if yes, how long after they have had a stent procedure? He wants to go but....not sure whether it's too soon!
