Default ZOLOFT

Coming up on 2 years this May of 06, my husband has been taking Zoloft for depression after losing his job of 12 years. Depression set in shortly after so his Dr. immediately prescribed Zoloft. Roughly about 6 months into the Zoloft program, he started having seizures. The doctors still today don't know the cause---at first they said it was stress from losing his job, now they don't know. He is taking an anti-convulsant drug for the seizures (tegretol). He has numerous side effects; dizziness, nausea, sexual dysfunction, depression and many more. I'm wondering if Zoloft could be the cause of the seizures. Just wondered if anyone had or is experiencing seizures while taking Zoloft. Seizures are only happening approx once a month...thanks

im sure its probably possible that the zoloft is to blame. but im wondering why the doctor didnt imediatly take him off the zoloft after having a seizure? there are alot of different antideppresants out there.
