wondering what to do

I have a bone disease since birth. I have started seeing a new pain managment doctor about six months ago.
He has me on 160mg of methadone pr day.. I told him about a week (at my apppointment) that I was still expereincing breakthrough pains at times.
He perscribed norco 10/325 4 times pr day. This medication does nothing to me!!!!! I wm wondering if I should call him and tell him , or if I should , wait untill my next appointment!? I dont know what to do

If that isn't giving you adequate pain relief, I'd just call and talk to his nurse and ask if you should come back in and let the dr re-adjust your medicine or perhaps prescribe a different medicine all together.
