I called and asked my Pharmacist once before and he told me to take Benadryl said it would help with being fidgety but I never tried it. Me personally I started to take Nyquil once before and it helped some but the problem with that I think I became addicted to it. I don't know if you can become physically or mentally addicted to it or not, but I sure did want it all the time. It wasn't until I took some and it made me throw up that I stopped.

An over the counter med. that has helped me in withdrawal is benadryl. It contain hydrochloride, which is one of the active ingredients in methadone. Benadryl is an antahistamine(sp?) blocker, essentially your body is going through an allergic reaction, muscle spasms, etc. It really does help, but I'm not exactly sure why. Good luck!
