Default Is this withdrawal?

This question is for a friend. She had surgery two weeks ago......was taking 2 percocets round the clock every 4 hours. She has weaned down to two number 5 Lortab's.

She is having stomach cramps, diaharrea, skin crawling, leg spasams.

This is her 9th surgery in the last 2 years.......she had horrible wd's back in the fall after being on round the clock percocets for 6 weeks.

She was wondering if she could be going through percocet w/d even tho she is taking loratab?????

Thanks

I know I'm asking for opinions here and I realize they are just that opinions, but........

she now wants me to ask (she is on the phone with me) should she just stop cold turkey with the lortabs also? She does not want to go through this again when she stops taking them.

Thanks for any and all opinions!

The only way she could do a detox is to go into a detox program. Most people cannot do it by themselves. If she's going to do it cold turkey then she'll suffer for about 5 days with flu like sysmptoms.Like I said before, take the immodium and if she can get ahold of a benzo (valium, xanax, ect) that would help with anxiety and sleep......Dave
