Get some Phillips stool softener. It's very gentle and takes a while. If that doesn't work you can take dulcolax and that will blast your insides out. I'm serious.

My question is what could you possibly be doing with 50 10mg vics and suboxone both? That doesn't even make any sense.

I don't have the Suboxone yet.

I need to see the DR. I have been on a 9 month Perc--Vic--Oxie bender and need to clean up

Mineral Oil.
Senna tea. (You can get it in health food stores and some pharmacies.)

Do not make the tea too strong until you know how your body responds to it. And don't drink too much of it either.

I registered on this site because I wanted to answer your question. I too, have had much trouble with constipation. I take several medicines including strong pain killers which can really clog me up. This problem can really make you sick if you don't do something about it on an ongoing basis. Here is what has worked for me: A stool softener called PER-COLACE. It also has a stimulant laxative and it works in 2 ways. DOCUSATE SODIUM 50mg plus SENNOSIDES 8.6 mg. One ingredient softens the stool and the other ingredient helps assist the stool to get through the body. Pain pills slow up the bodys metabolism so both ingredients are needed. I have to take 4 per day plus I take a swig of Mineral Oil once per day when I need to help the softener work. This medicine can be confused with another med that only has the one ingredient-docusate. Make sure to get the med that has BOTH ingredients. Make sure you read the label also as I take alot of this and you may not need that much. This is rather expensive if you buy the brand name (around $17-$18 for 120 tab bottle) but I found a generic version at Walmart for around $8. It is called EQUATE STOOL SOFTENER This med is worth its weight in gold to me because I really do suffer from this problem. I hope this helps you and -- Best regards.

one word for constipation Miralax...its avalible OTC now but if you have ins they will probably still pay for it. Its gentle if taken as perscribed, no cramps, no running for bathroom, and no waking in your sleep to do your business. It was perscibed to my 7 years old a few years ago(not yet OTC then) because he couldnt fully void and it was unbareibly painful for him when he did go. It worked wonders for him. No more hrs in the bathroom screaming in agony Thank the Lord it killed me to see him in such awful pain. I have never had a problem with constipation until the sub so I went and got a script for it. It worked wonders for me also. I already have serious GI problems being looked into & tested by a dr now most likely caused or hidden by my time spent in MMT.But my dr said it was safe to take this while we are waiting for tests to get back on differant GI problems. It can be put into any drink and you really cant taste it at all not even in water. Its taken everyday kinda like fiber but much more effective and the need for daily use fades it can become a few times weekly treatment until cause of constipation is resolved. It comes in a white bottle with a purple label if anyone wants to give it a try.

When I was a kid I would put money in my mouth and always ended up swollowing it. My Mom would then feed me a big bowl of Kale or Collars. She would then have to wade thu the results to ensure I pass the money. I could even swollow a quarter with ease after a while......

My second choice would be Senna-S..... the tea works well also.

If you chose the sub route you will need to stock up on softners for sure. That opiate will bind you well and pretty immed.

Good luck,

Sister
