There is no maximum amount that is allowed. Just have to be in acute W/Ds when you begin buprenorphine, whether you do Suboxone or Subutex so you don't go into precipitated W/Ds. Obviously to do a cold turkey you just stop and deal with it for a week or two. Let us know if we can help you.
