....Whats up Brian! Man you sound like your doing pretty good brother! 40 something hours you should be doing a lot worse. A few more days and you will be out of the woods dude! I have been there and back a few times myself. Keep trucking bro! I had to give you a shout out being from Michigan. Those Vics are a freakin epidemic around here! Stay away man. Otherwise you will be working on this for a very long time, over and over again. And it never gets any easier. Keep it up!

Ryan ....Man it feels good to post sometimes!

Brian,

I cannot believe that you are 45 hours in and have minimal w/d's you are a very lucky one, I am jealous LOL... at that point after quitting my life was a living hell...congrats. Your state of mind and attitude are great I think you will make it with no problem.
Thank you for the kind words I truly enjoyed serving in the military I honestly consider it a privilage for me to have been allowed to serve it was a great experience. THANKS !!

from today .....Brian your doing awesome! I would think after tomorrow the worst will be behind you from my experience. Man your doing so good you almost make me want to try again! Its coming. Im actually from Novi area. Living in Canton now for a short time. When I first started posting on here there were a bunch of people from Mi on here. Seems like all the pill poppers are in Mi, Cali, Texas for some reason. Anyway, your doing really well bro. What ever is working just keep doing it!

...Jenny from the block! Nice to hear from you too! You know me and my girl split up and things a horrible! HAHA I have to be honest. I have been here before. My life is one big pattern I swear! I reel em in Jenny and then things get to comfortable and things just start falling apart. I was very close to hitting a meeting last night. And im getting there. Its a matter of time. This path im on right now leads to no where. I know that. I will make it I know it. Sooner or later. Its really a shame that I do this to my body. How about I commit to this again in two weeks from today and make it stick? That would be a great time. Will you be around?

Hi everyone just wanting to post my status . day 3 1/2 now and doing really well still got a few minor w/d symptoms little tired at times , a lot of sneezing , very small case of (rls) at times .. but i begin to wonder why w/d has not hit me hard ? one thing i can think of is i am a heavy soda drinker and never really drank any water and only ate 1 to 2 times a day not healthy foods . so when i started detox i started vitamins , water, vitamin water, and bananas . does anyone thing my body was starving for the nutrients so bad that it blocked out most of my w/d ?
thank you all god bless us all ...

I guess every person is diffrent when it comes to w/d's if all our patterns hold up you are doing great and almost 1/3rd of the way through it. I will say it again you have been lucky that it didnt hit you so hard (I mean that in a really good way). You seem pretty determined I know you will get through all this.
BTW I used to be stationed at Charleston AFB in South Carolina spent plenty of time at Folly Beach, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, and Isle of Palms...I love the beach, grew up in South Florida.
Life will seem so much better when you experience it without the "fog" of the pills...Keep it up and Keep us Posted !!

Eric thank you man yee haw 1/3rd through it sounds awesome . I know i have been so lucky to have come this far with very little w/d .crazy as it sounds i felt worst on the pills diarrhea , rls , tired, & knee pain I really don't understand that . starting to feel more like myself again really feels good . I am so proud of myself and all of you for making this great choice in life god bless us all...

Man stationed at Charleston AFB had to be tons of fun when you could get out . The ocean there is just a beautiful thing . we use to vacation in Gatlinburg Tennessee doing the mountain thing that's where i got married at than looked into the ocean thing and that's where myrtle beach came in . so this august is my 2nd time going back to
South Carolina and cant count these days fast enough .
well got to run thank you for everything ..
t.t.y.l man
god bless us all

Brian ..... I don't think your body was starving for nutrients so badly that it kept you out of w/d symptoms. I honestly don't know why you haven't felt w/d symptoms yet. It happens every once in a while, I mean very very seldom though, but I've seen it happen before a few times.

There is really no explanation for an opiate detox with no symptoms following two years using even though you weren't using a tremendous amount. If you make it through the detox with NO w/d symptoms just be grateful. I don't know what else to say honestly.

I'm sure that working out hard is helping you through this, but it wouldn't explain no symptoms at all after four days of hydrocodone. It doesn't even have a long half life. W/D symptoms usually start within hours after stopping hydros abruptly. Just thank your lucky stars for this detox you're going through.

You're obviously very fortunate. Hope it continues. You're going to be past the worst of the detox very soon according to the hours you've been clean. Keep us posted. Good luck and God bless.

Robert , I honestly don't know what to say 4D 8hrs later i do feel like ******** not from no w/d just seeing how other people are suffering and I'm walking away normal . how will i relate to other ones to help them when i haven't been in their shoes with the w/ds ? But I'm still glad and did count them lucky stars an thanked god and you all for such positive effect on me .
I do also know the fight don't stop here this is only the beginning of my recovery . well i just want to thank you for hearing me out god bless you and you do a wonderful thing on here ...

....What up Brian! Let me tell you how lucky you are. I take my last dose around 8pm. When I wake up in the AM it feels like someone cracked me in the knees with a hammer until I get on. I have had some luck with taking Subox hours after my last vic dose and not having any trouble. I guess some people get lucky. But man, I would feel like ******** after 2 vic a day detox after 2 years of use. You got lucky bro, be happy and never look back!

Ry ....I know southwest D very well. I use to go eat down there all the time. I am in the D quite often.

Default We are all diffrent

We are all diffrent and you are a lucky one when it comes to detoxing. The good news is you are almost there and in the end it will be so worth it. You and your family will be so much for the better without the pills and all the money wasted on that phoney high will be useful I am sure.
When I was stationed in Charleston 2002 to 2004 almost 3 years total we made it a point when I had time off on the weekends to get to the beach in the summer, those were some great times I will never forget.
Well keep us posted with your good news I think you are going to get through this with no problem.

Dago how are you bro? Man I know how lucky i am and please trust me guys i will not be taking advantage of it either Robert said he only seen a few very few cases like mine . I really just cant believe ! It's like 10 hrs till day 5 for me and I'm just chill as ever so i think I'm DONE..
But now for you bro man that really stinks i know you can do this i got a lot of faith in your recovery . 2 vic's a day and feeling like c r a p I never got that low it was all to nothing . after 2 1/2 yrs i really was thinking it was going to kick me in the butt . you know another thing i forgot to mention is i would only take sets of 2's 5x 6x 7x a day is the most i took but averaged about 6x . prob would of been a lot worst if i was taking 5 at 1 time ..
but yah i'm out the woods now i want to help you as much as possible .
anytime you need to talk about anything just hop on here and vent i always lurking ...
man i wish you the best god bless and hold strong you got this ..
