 HELLO TO ALL MY FRIENDS THAT GAVE ME THE COURAGE (ROBERT FREEDOM INTELMETAL CHEEKY KATHLEEN SHOCKY RUBY ETC.ETC. IF I MISSED ANY ONE IM SORRY ,BUT YOU GUTS SHOULD GET A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FOR YOUR WORK HERE . LONG STORY SHORT TODAY 
AFTER LISTENING TO YOUR ADVICE AND PREPARING FOR 4-5 DAY THOMAS RECIPE AS I HAVE SAID EARLIER (2 WEEKS AGO) CANT FIND MY OLD THREAD BUT Want YOU ALL TO KNOW !!!!! I KICKED THE DEVILS ASS  WITH ALL YOUR HELP AND CONTINUED SUPPORT ,LIKE A SOLDIER I WAS/IS/AM SCARED ,BUT EVERY DAY IS 100% BETTER. I TOOK A TRIP AWAY FROM WHERE THE PILLS HAD A HOLD OF ME (UTAH) WENT TO FAMILY AND GOOD FRIENDS .
HAVE NOT HAD ACCSESS TO A COMPUTER TILL NOW ,BUT EVERY DAY I AWAKE TO WHAT YOU ALL HAVE HELPRD ME THRU , THE TEARS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN ,BUT COME AND GO . MY COMMITMENT IS STILL AS STRONG AS THE DAY I STARTED THAT LAST THREAD FIRST WEEK OF OCT 2009 I REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY .
I WILL BE AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY DAILY ,TO KEEP YOU ALL IN MY PRAYERS AND STAY TRUE TO WHAT HELPED ME THRU THE MOST DIFFICULT TIME OF MY LIFE ! @ FIRST I WAS NOT SURE I COULD DO IT , BUT I DID IT , BECAUSE OF YOU ALL AND MY WILL TO GET ME BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE !
I STILL AM IN SHOCK OF THE POWER THIS SITE AND THE PEEPS HERE GAVE TO ME . IM GOING TO QUIT RAMBLING FOR TODAY ,BUT WILL BE BACK TOMORROW, FRIDAY I HOPE EVERYONE WHO COMES TO THIS GOD GIVEN SITE IS GIVEN THE STRENGHT & POWER IT GAVE ME
PS TURBO (MY DOG) IS HAPPY AND I BELIVE NOWS I HAVE WON THIS BATTLE ,I JUST PRAY SOME OF MY WORDS CAN BE PAYED FORWARD !!!!!!!!!

WOW Turbo Time, That is really something to be proud of. You seem to have made it through this very tuff battle, and that is nothing shy of a miracle. It hepls everyone to hear stories like this. Recovery is a sacred part of our lives, and we can't afford to lose it.
Remember that detox from all the drugs we have put in our body, mind, and spirit can take a long time, so take it slow and keep doing what you know is the right thing. Proud of you. |

Chris, that is very good news. I am also impressed with the way you handled this so far. Keep up the awesome job you are doing. Hey Man,
Just wanted to say great job. I get pretty self-absorbed in my own world and struggles and it's easy to miss folks. You obviously handled this, that is an achievement you will never forget.
God, I know how hard it can be to kick. Lonely, too. Good for you, keep on keepin; on, sorry I've missed you up to this point. I try to pay attention, but as any of us hardcore folks know, it's easy to get wrapped up in your own mess.

IM SO PROUD TO BE ABLE TO LOOK @ MYSELF IN THE MIRROR,I STILL HURT , A LIL PHYSICALLY AND A LIL MENTALLY .BUT NOT LIKE IT HURT TO BE RUNNING LOW ON PILLS(BOY DID THAT SUCK TO START COUNTING A LOW SUPPLY),IM NOT SURE IF I WILL EVER BE ABLE TO LET THIS SITE GO, IT MAKES A DIFF EVERY DAY , NOW I NOW THE POWER OF SUPPORT ,DID NOT BELIEVE AT FIRST ,BUT ,WOW THIS IS COOL (I STILL HAVE PAIN )BUT NOT LIKE BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ,@ LIKE # 16 DAYS OF BEING CLEAN, AFTER ALMOST 2 YRS OF BEING DIRTY , I REALIZE IT WILL TAKE TIME . I HAD NO CLUE .THE SH@! I WAS PUTTING MYSELF, TAKING WHAT THE GOOD OL DOC. in my previous attempts at staying clean (note the staying !! i have got there before but staying there is the hard part for me)
but for me the emotions were hard, we have suppressed them for so long with drugs that they come back and give us a bit of a rollercoaster to start with.
i was up and down, crying for no reason, but starting to laugh again as well, really laugh.
but hey, at least you are feeling ay, instead of dulling everything.
you have a great attitude, if your emotions get the better of you, get on here and let it all out.
bet your dog knows as well, that goes without saying to dog people but they will know how hard you have worked. give turbo a pat for me.

IM HANGING IN THERE ,THE DAYS ARE SO MUCH EASYIER ,I HAD SOME FAMILY FRIENDS , THAT I RAN INTO FROM 20+ YRS AGO ,AND THEY HAVE A SON A FEW YRS YOUNGER THAN ME THAT WAS ON ALCOHOL FOR A FEW YRS AND HAS BEEN CLEAN ABOUT 130 DAYS AND BEEN GOING TO THE GYM SO IVE BEEN GOING TOO.I TOLD HIS PARENTS ABOUT MY ISSUES. IM REALLY REALLY CLOSE TO THE PARENT (THERE SON USED TO RACE MOTORCYCLES WHEN I DID AND I WAS ALWAYS HELPING THEM AT THE RACES ,KINDA LIKE A MENTOR/COACH) ANYWAY THE ASKED ,SO HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE STUFF OUT OF MY SYSTEM, I TOLD HER I NOT REALLY SURE,BUT, NOW I THINK AFTER 3WEEKS , ITS ALL OUT ,OR AT LEAST I DONT FEEL LIKE I HAVE THE SAME ,EMOTIONAL B/S AS WHEN I FIRST WENT COLD TURKEY, AND THATS A GREAT FEALING . Sounds like things are rolling along for you. That is awesome. My brother in law used to race motorcycles. He did the desert racing stuff, Baja 1000 etc. He won everything, all the time. Wish he had done supercross! That just blew up. He would be rich right about now, lol. Kiss for Turbo. I'm off to Virgina at 6am to run a golf tournament for work. Will have my computer. Take care. |
