Default trying to quit

I have been addicted to pain killers for over 3 years.. mostly vicodin and percocet. I quit in the beginning of the summer using suboxone and was clean for about 2 months, then made the mistake of taking one... then a few days later another... you know the story. I am back up to 10-15 pills a day and am so disappointed in myself for relapsing. Its's been 2 months of daily pill taking this time around. I desperately want to be off these pills for good. I only took 2 pills today (both at 3pm). I didn't feel too bad before taking them, so my question is do you guys think if I go cold turkey now my withdrawals will be really bad? I hate these pills!!! I just want to be sober. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks

I would rather see you man up and cold turkey it than to go back on subs. I think it's worth it to just go for it this time. It hasn't been that long. You 'll feel better in less than a week. God bless.

I agree... subs aren't even an option for me this time. I'm thinking wds won't be too bad considering it hasn't been that long. I have the day off tomorrow but will have to work m-f so are there any over the counter meds/vitamins that may help? I have immodium already and a multivitamin. Is there anything else that I should get? I think at this point it's the willpower that will be hardest for me. Thanks for your advice!

hey leebomb,,

you can do this im goin on day 6 of my journey to be drug free..... it does feel good (even tho im slightly withdrawing) to be clean.... just think about the money you will save and all the people you love, do it for them if not for yourself... the immodium is all i use and it has served me well but you have to think of it like this, if you continue to use you are only postponing the pain....just be sure to log on frequently and let us know how you are doing
