Default Travelling to Toronto...

Hi All,
Maybe one or more of you fine people can help me....
I am planning a trip to Toronto on Aug. 18. I have been on Meth Maintenance for one year. I kind of didn't expect some of the problems I seem to be facing...First, my center will NOT fill bottles if they are going to Canada, as theyb say it is prohibited and will be confiscated at the border. OK, I can deal with that if:
--I can get a guest pass for a clinic in Toronto- (we're working on that)- Secondly, I thought I saw something about a 100 MG limit in Ontario- Is that true?? I am currently on 130 MG and that probably wouldn't work out too well. Lastly, Is anyone familiar with the quality of Canadian methadone as far as the relative quality to other types, places, etc... The Meth here in CT., USA is of excellent quality ,I am told, and can verify that. When I guest dosed in South Carolina a few months back, I thought I was going into withdrawal, the quality was so relatively inferior. It really bummed out a nice trip.
I am grateful to ALL for ANY feedback on these matters. Thanks in advance, feel free to use my E-mail, Thank You.
GARY

I live 80 miles east of Toronto and I can tell you that there is no dose cap.I take 400mgs/day with no problems. What I don't understand is why your clinic would tell you that your methadone would be confinscated at the boarder. This just isn't true.As long as you have i.d. and the bottles are made out to you then they would let you take them in.Good luck on your trip to Toronto.Go up in the CN Tower if you get a chance.......Dave

Hi Dave. THANK YOU so much for your response. Might you, by ANY chance, know who or what place I might contact to get that info in writing? The problem here is that our pharmicist at the Counseling Center will simply NOT fill my bottles if he knows they are going to Canada. And he has a VERY hard head [B)]!! Any contact would be appreciated. And if I'm forced to guest dose, the quality is good? We use a pink liquid which MUST be mixed with a sweet juice or it's not palatable. In Carolina, it was a red, slightly viscous liquid that did not have to be cut and tasted like cough medicine. It was awful as far as quality. Much appreciated, Gary
