do you feel that you are abusing it? Just because you are niave doesnt mean you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between occasional usage and addiction...most signs of addiction are obvious, how do you feel when you run out? do you get anxious and think of nothing else but how to get your next line? is it all you think about?
one of the things with cocaine is that you dont go through physical withdraw which is a good thing, the thing most people hava a problem with with that drug is the mental addiction, but then another thing with cocaine is it does something to your brain I forget what its called but I learned about it in rehab, that is a drug that doesn something to your brain telling you you want more even before the effect of the drug wears off, you know if you have a dependency... simple and obvious things would be right in your face, do you spend all your money on it, do you put your drug use in front of other things in your life? I mean the signs of abuse are obvious..

The first sign of cocaine abuse in a country where it's illegal is using it. If risking your own freedom isn't abuse, I don't know what is.

Hello glitch,

Perhaps if you knew where cocaine can take a person you'd be able to see the wisdom in JJ's words. He was addicted to cocaine and has been recovered from his addiction for twenty-some years. He knows what he's talking about and I, for one, completely agree with his posts on this thread. They were very honest.

I don’t see anything smartass in what JJ said either and I wrecked my life with cocaine. What he said is the truth. The first line I ever snorted was coke abuse. What’s smartass about tellin somebody that? And it’s not just abusive to do coke when its illegal its downright stupid. It never did anything for me except totally f**k me up.

I think what wawa was asking was physical sign's of abuse and nothing in JJ'S REPLY described what to look for. I just think people should explain a little in detail. After all wawa did say they were naive about cocaine abuse. sorry if i ofended anyone.

I have no doubt JJ understood fully what wawa was asking and his answer was honest and to the point. The first sign of cocaine abuse is clearly snorting a line of cocaine up one's nostrils. Many an addict was hooked on the first line.

Well using Any drug in the country is Illegal, being pot, coke, buying pills even though it is Illegal everyone still does it I agree with the anwser but It wasnt very helpful. I had a coke promblem years ago, I knew It was a big promblem when I would hide it from my boyfriend so i could have more than him and we would spend our rent money on it, there was never enough coke and when there is never enough you really have a promblem. we spent over 100.00 a day for about a year then I got pregnant and we never touched the stuff again, it is the Most evil drug out there in my book it will take ahold of you quicker than anything. So my advice to anyone is Don't even try it ever.

Jessi
