Smile subutex for chronic pain/14 yrs morphine oral & pump did it work for you!!

went thru detox for bowel problems due to morphine. when admited to hospital yas given subutex & a antiflamatory. had no problems but was just blown away that the pain was all but gone.
so at my am dose 4mg i did not take till 1 pm i was really starting to hurt or lets say a level of 5 .20 min later i was down to a level of 3. have had 18 surguries to my back & their around i have never reduced a pain level with dope except roxicodone ect. the only thing that will reduce my pain is a nap. a nap will bring a pain level of 6 down to a 5 most times.
i am a new b to subutex only 3 weeks i have found my pain is more accute like the ice pic rather that the dull kick of a horse.
most medications changed will last from 1 month to 6 months that included the morphine pump i had for 8 yrs. in fact we had just summitted the paperwork to insc to re-install pump again & came up with this idea before we placed the pump back in.
anyone been on subutex for pain over 6 months ect please respond i am in the houston area. i can find nothing in ref to medication documentaion anywhere that is used for pain relief !!
i shall be glad to tell you what has worked for me ect just waiting for the pain to start back where i just lay on the floor & pray to die. i try not to think about what if //i am enjoying this for every moment i have and damn glad to have it.
jim

Jim .... I'm also from Houston. I know a great dr in Houston who can help you. He is a master with subutex if you'll give him a shot. His credentials will blow you away. Click on my screen name and send a private email please. God bless.

Hi Robert -

I am in Houston also and would love to get that name from you. I have chronic fibromyalsia, migraines, and severe upper and lower back disc issues. I hate pain med! I was on Demerol years back and almost ruined my life - I have started back on meds (vicodin, flexaril, skelaxin) and am going on vacation Wed afternoon to Mexico. I was on subutex when getting off Demerol and had GREAT success. I DO NOT want to withdrawl from Vicodin on my trip - am almost out (i take as directed but i itch, get hyper, and nausea) ANY HELP Would be MUCH APPRECIATED!!!! If not, any ideas how to keep from getting sick from no meds?

ljm1199 .... click on my screen name and send an email through this site to me. I don't want to post his personal information. Understand this really isn't a pain management dr but would possibly work with you if you tell him about your previous success with subs for pain control. He runs a big rehab hospital in Houston. God bless.
