Default suboxone for postacute withdrawal syndrome

Anyone ever started taking Suboxone for postacute withdrawal syndrome? Detoxed off opiate use for 30 years and PAWS is really, really tough.

PAWS is crippling. I know individuals who use Methadone to feel alive again. I was a long time user as well, but thank God I do not suffer from PAWS. In the beginning I thought I had that condition because my withdrawals lasted several months. But it was the benzo withdrawals that kicked my a@#. After 4 and a half months my Psychiatrist placed me on a medicinal dose of diazepam and now I feel awesome. But I know what your feeling. Methadone is a lot cheaper than Suboxone. Look in to it and let me know what happens. God Bless
