In my long history with sleep meds I can suggest this:
For [u]waking up </u>in the night: Chloral Hydrate 1000mg or
Ambien 10mg
For finding it [u]hard to fall asleep</u>: Midazolam 15mg
For more [u]long term </u>use: Dalmane 30mg
For a more [u]mild</u> long term solution: Zopliclone 7.5mg
For [u]short</u> duration of effect: Midazolam,
Ativan or Halcion/triazolam.
My personal favorite sleeping pill is midazolam, its a short acting and very powerful sedative-hypnotic benzodiazepine. Beware though, its more addictive than ambien. Amien is less addictive than most sedatives, but more mild.
I have a lot of experience with this and I hope my info helps.
Have a good sleep and remember most sedatives for sleep should be used off and on or for short periods to avoid any tolerance.
Anyone ever try
sonata or
prosom? if so email me and tell me about them..
sleep tight.
