Default Percodan

Hi I'm new at this, so please be patient with me. I'm looking for some information regarding percodan. In specific, withdrawal symptoms...I know only what I've read on the internet about it but it doesn't specify whether a person on it who has used it for four years suddenly stopped taking it, what would happen to them. I would expect that a person taking it this long suddenly stopping would have instant side effect(s). Am I right though? Or, would a person start having withdrawal symptoms 3 days after they stopped taking them? I'm very concerned about a homeless girl I've just taken into my home who has an addiction to this drug. This is her claim & I'm trying to help this girl out. I could use any information about this drug, most specifically in regards to my question. Could somebody help me out? Thank you if you can...Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can help. Yours truly, Sweeeethoneybee

No, it would not be an instant reaction, though nice try on her part. Every drug substance has a half life, this life can be extended with repetitive long term use, and as such it would actually take long for the drug to start moving out of their system for them to have withdrawals.

I just looked it up, and with normal, short term use, you are looking at two or three days before the amount of the drug significantly drops in someone's system, so with long term use, you would be looking at a week or so.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~
