what is oxys? I know what they are but what do they do to you? I bought a 40 mg one off the streets for 20$ what do they do? is it true you get speeded up if you snort them like cocaine?

He is growing inside you, its pretty selfish to use when he doesn't have a choice. I will say it even more bluntly than clueless, using while you are pregnant is STUPID!

Guess you really don't want to be clean, or you wouldn't be buying drugs like that, and you obviously don't care much about that baby. Such a shame for him, he has no choice about being created, what you put inside him, and being born to a parent who doesn't care.

No, Oxy's do not provide speed effects anyway, they provide a high, which for some people is Euphoric and that is why they are so commonly abused, many people enjoy the high euphoria.

Geez, $20 for one pill? That is just so crazy. For that $20 you could have bought some items that your baby will need when he arrives, diapers, clothes, toys, hygiene supplies, you could have bought yourself a video game to take your mind off things, several good books to read, a weeks worth of groceries with sales and coupons, a new outfit at Wal-Mart or a second hand store, a small pet to love and make you feel special. Some gas to take a drive and enjoy some scenery, a bus ticket or cab ride to somewhere you would like to see and just take a walk and drink in the sights.

Wow, so many other options and you threw them away, tossing your health and your babies out the window in favor of one, stupid, illegally obtained, little pill.

I really cant say if they do or not I have never taken an Oxy before I have always been scared to take them. My father in law took them for like 2 days after surgery and they made he really sick, he said he felt some type of withdaws from them and only took then 2 days so like i said I am to scared to take them. We shouldnt jump the gun and think she is taking them while she is pregnant, maybe she bought them for her boyfriend or is saving it for when the baby is born. Hopefully she is not going to take it now, are you liz ann??? I hope not for the babys sake, if you are or did take it try and not to do it again. I know it is hard but just count down the months you have till that sweet little baby is born.

As a matter of fact I didnt take it...and if youread my posts from a month ago or so I said when I get the chance I was going to buy myself something as a treat for when the babys born and I still have it hidden away and in a weird way I kinda like knowing I have something here, knowing that I am not going to take it its nice to know that I have something I dont know if you guys will understand what I mean by it or not but thats what its for a treat for when its all done and I dont know if thats samrt of me cuz then I mind wind up using again but I think after all these months with nothing, when its all said and done I deserve a reward....I just thought oxys might be 10times better then anything else so thats why I got 1....maybe I should have waited until he was born to ask you what they do to you and what the effects are, I gave everyone the wrong impression and I am sorry for that guys!!!! really I re-read it and If I were someone else reading I would have frealed out to knowing the person asking was pregnant...I am soooo sorry for misleading you all....please know that I am not using and I am clean and my baby will have everything he needs when hes born, I got rid of all my baby stuff after my youngest daughter turned 1 cuz we thought we were done having kids so I have had to go and start repurchasing everything, I have bought a brand new crib, a brand new playpen/changing table, a new carsaet the kind that locks into the stroller, I have bought decorations for his room, I have bought him clothes, bottles, dont worry I am going to have evrything I need for his arrival, and for the record I do care about this baby, more than you know, and he will be born into this world perfectly healthy and very loved....it was my fault for misleading you..

I thought about it but if i cant quit smoking cigarettes then I am definately not going to and I know that if I were to try it that I cant take anything, I know if I were to take pills and breastfeed that it would go straight to the baby through the milk so I am not sure yet....it all depends on whether or not I can quit smoking...
but if I do quit smoking then I am going to breastfeed and if If I do breastfeed I will not take any pills whatsoever..

Your trying to stay clean but your planning months ahead to use. Not just any opiate you choose oxys[]. Come on. Maybe in months you won't want/need to. Think about it. That could lead you right back to a problem! I'm think and praying for you!

your right it could lead me back to a problem but I doubt it especially not 1 pill and something I have never tried before, who knows if I will even want to take it when the time comes, it just gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing its in my cupboard...do you understand where I am coming from??

I guess in a way I understand because I know when I was using I used to hide pills so when I would run out I always could find my back up stashes. I wouldn't freak out as much when I was running low. I guess I just feel different now because I don't want to give up my clean days just to use 1 time. I know that 1 time might lead to 2 and so on. I run the tape of how I was and how I don't want to live that life anymore. I know oxys were my DOC but I would take any and all opiates so for me staying clean means not using ANY opiates. I guess I just changed the way I think and percieve pills. Regardless, just be careful because all you need is for Todd to upset you and You might be tempted to take it! Its just not worth it!

Hunny, Todd upsets me practicly every other day and I still havent been tempted to take it, as bad as I want to especially right now cuz I have this killer toothache, its been like this for 4 days now, I still havent given in, I am just waiting to get my car out of the shop this evening and then tommorow I am going to see if the dentist will see me on an emergency basis, it hurts so bad, I would rather have a broken leg then this darn toothache, it hurts to drink water and eat and just in general its constantly throbbing, I wish there was something that I could do really!!! but I am going to wait and go to the dentist asap...but I am not going to take it..

Oh he would but he never gets out of work until 5 pl and we cant afford for him to miss work cuz I am not working, my car is fixed and out of the shop, cost me 300$ which was all the money I had to my name, but I get my car back at 5 pm tonight and I am going to try and find a sitter so I can go to the dentist tommorw, I hope they will see me as an emergency I have medicaid but medicaid doesnt cover dental if your over 21, but they base it by your income, I just hope they will see me and fix the problem cuz oragel aint cutting it!!

Im not sure if every state is different, but since you are pregnant then medicaid should cover you completely, including dental. Thats when I have gotten most of my dental work done was right after my babies were born, before the good coverage was up, which was 2 months after.

Liz Ann, Sorry I haven't been here for you for a while. I just lost my favorite uncle... and I'm having a rough time with some changes in my meds. I'm sorry sweetie... I love you and I think you are in a really tough situation... but I think that you need to kick yourself in the ass and move forward with your life. I could no more keep a line of cocaine hidden (as a reward) than keep one right in front of my face. When you give it up... you have to give it up! I have no doubt that you love your baby to be... but I know that you are very unhappy with your life as it is and you have no control over that. The drugs... you feel as though you can control... unlike your life. It's so important that you try to find a way to reverse this thinking. You and your babies deserve so much more! There truly is more to life! Drugs are great... when you feel like ****... or have felt like **** most of or a good part of your life. They take you to a place that you are not capable of feeling on your own. OR SO YOUR THINK! This is the part that you do not know yet. There is a better life out there! Without the drugs! Please don't be pissed at me for speaking my mind. I've had a rough few days... and a couple glasses of wine this evening. I really do care and I truly want the best for you and your babies! The one thing that pissed me off most in my past experience with depression was being told to kick myself in the ass and move forward. I have learned that it truly is something that only YOU can do. I do love you!

Thanks you debbie, I know I need to kick myself i n the ass and move on but I cant seem to...I think about pills all the time it eont go away, I cant get it out of my damn head and its driving me crazy, I am so depressed and have no energy, I want my life back the way it was before I even knew what the pills were...I hate this
