Default Online prescription

I recently ordered hydrocodone from an online pharmacy. The site said that my questionaire would be forwarded to a US licenced physician. I was issued the prescription and then found out from FedEx that the shipment was "seized by law enforcement."

I spoke with a corporate security rep at FedEx and he said what I did was illegal and that I may be arrested! I thought it was legal if you have a presciption... was I wrong? You would think it would be the online pharmacy's problem if they have illegal docs, not mine. This guy really scared me and said I should call the Dept. of Justice, explain the situation, and find out if I'm om "one of thier lists." Of course, I could not find anyone at the Dept. of Justice to answer my questions and I have no idea where to turn.

Obviously, had I known I was doing something illegal, I would not have done it. I tried to contact the company to no avail. Their website is gone (suprise, suprise) and there is no way to contact them.

Needless to say, I am really p*ss*ed and scared. Does any one have any experience with this or any suggestions on what steps I can take? I really don't think I've done anything wrong but the FedEx guy says different. By the way, the wesite was

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

I can't answer if you're in the wrong (because I don't know the law), but I have heard that the buyer can be in trouble. Doesn't sound right to me either.

Someone I know just lost his job working at one of those "pharmacies." The DEA came in and raided his boss's computer and shut the operation down. Whether he was innocent in the whole thing or knew the law, I can't tell you. But I think they're being shut down.
