I believe it will as they are both narcotics, It's like being addicted to vicodin, And then going off.

I also am going through severe withdrawals from differant drug aqddictions i think the withdrawals are so bad because it was Methadone I've been out of treament 30 days and I'm still so very sick i don't think I'm going to make it. I have been trying o very hard praying constantly but I keep getting worse I can't sleep and in alot of pain, migraines, burning and stinging all over my body mostly arms and legs, so tired and sick. Is this the way I'll feel the rest of my life? Am I stuck like this? should I see a Dr? Has anyone every went through withdrawls so long and gotten better? Please if anyone can help, I need help despertaly.

You are experiencing PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawl Syndrome). This happens when an addict stops using all opiates.AFter all the opiates are clear of the body the brains receptors are still in opiate mode so to speak. You are not producing enough endorphins to fill those receptors and that's why you feel the way you do.It can take months to get better and some people have to go on methadone for life as they are no longer able to produce enough endorphins.I would see your doctor and tell him the truth as to what's going on.Sometimes an ssri like Wellbutrin will do wonders for a recovering addict in PAWS.Good luck....Dave
