Default Nardil & cause of death

Hi, my mum had bipolar depression & was on nardil. Sadly she passed away on Sunday from a intracerebal hemorrhage. One minute she was eating lunch & then severe headache. Within 15 minutes after being rushed to hospital she had to be put in induced coma to stabilise her. After being told there was nothing they could do she struggled to breathe for a week on her own before passing. My mum was very careful about not eating the things the doctor told her were on the list to avoid, but she drank white wine as she said only red wine was not allowed and then was taking a herbalife weight loss shake without telling anyone. It makes me wonder if this had anything to do with her death as i just want some answers as i am devastated that she has gone.

I am so sorry for your loss. I too have been on Nardil for about 20 years and have had reactions to different things I've eaten. It can be difficult to know if certain things will cause such a severe reaction. I drink coffee regularily and don't seem to get much negative side effects. I personally would request further information on exactly what did cause her death. Was an autopsy done? If I felt uncertain, I would look into it further. Definitely, don't quit asking until YOU are satisfied that your questions are answered. God Bless you and yours.
