Default My Friends On This Forum at Christmas

I had to take a moment just to say a very sincere "thank you" to all my friends on the forum. And I mean that sincerely.

I do what I do as a personal ministry as God has been so gracious to me over and again blessing me with so many things. This is what I have been led to do to bring glory to our Creator and Savior. How could I possibly be anymore fortunate than I am today?

I have received at least a dozen personal emails today from forum members that have been more heartfelt than I know how to explain. They have meant so very much to me. You all who sent them know who you are. I truly appreciate the kind words from you and the repeated thanks for what little bit I do on this forum.

But it's me that has been blessed by all this. It's me that God has graced with freedom from my addictions, with so many new and loving friends, but most of all I've been blessed with eternal salvation because of the ultimate sacrifice of the Creator of all things. And you guys are so kind to repeatedly thank me for the little things I do like these are some great contribution. I only share here with what words God puts in my mouth to speak.

I just want to again say thank you to each of you. You have all added so much to my life and I am eternally grateful for all I have been blessed with including each of my friends here. Best wishes to all at this time of love for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless.

Melinda ... you are such a gift to people and you don't even realize it. You help so many people simply by touching them with your genuine heartfelt kindness. That obviously means more to people than you realize at all.

You and I don't talk personally as much on the forum as we have in the past as we are both often busy trying to do the same things answering others' posts. You not only help others on the forum, but you are an inspiration to me as well. I apologize for not saying that more often.

You have become a very dear friend to me. We talk every day numerous times usually about the forum, but sometimes just in friendship. You're a very special person and this forum would have such a void without your ongoing contributions.

In such a short time of what ... four months or so ... you've grown from a serious RX pain med addiction to a voice of reason and stability for those struggling with their personal demons. You deserve some major credit for all you do. I had to take advantage of this opportunity to point out just a little of the contribution and ongoing sacrifices from you to eveyone one on this forum. God bless you Melinda. You're such a class act.

Hey musicman! Please don't EVER say again that you "...... aren't even close to being middle class." If anyone I know is HIGH CLASS it's you dude! And I mean that too. Not trying to stroke anyone. But you are totally about class. Perhaps if you haven't worked step 4 yet that will change when you get past the self-forgiveness part of this thing. But you are far from being anything resembling even middle-class. God bless my friend.

Robert!!!
I'm so glad to hear from you! I think you do an amazing job for this board and the people who are brave enough to listen to you! Although you are "not a doctor and ...", I'd be honored to serve as part of any team with you! The doctors and those of us in the medical field can only help those willing to come to us for help, but you help people where ever they happen to be at this point in their life. I know there are many who talk with you through their posts and let you know how much you've helped them, but I am just as equally sure there are many who only read what you have to say and take heed. I admit that I am but a lurker who posts here and there, but you are a vital part of this board's community and I hope you will never forget that! Keep doing what you do and God bless you and yours! And Meryy Christmas, too.

Hi Robert,
I know I usually always post under a different board but I just happened to see this. You have been a tremendous help to me. Without your help I would be taking a whole lot of unneccessary suboxone (16-24 mg) instead of just 4 mg a day. I know I haven't posted in a week or so but I did an update under the other board. I am doing fine. My other post explains where I have been. I truly believe God spared you to help so many others that you have helped, me included. Take care, my friend and Merry Christmas,

Hugs,
Kat

Default Blessings

Robert I am so happy you feel like you get something from everyone here, you spend so much time just helping others. I am happy you feel blessed. I find one of my truest happy moments are when I'm helping others. I was hopeless and lost you have helped guide the way.
Melinda it was a miracle we found each other and you reached out to me out of so many. You helped me find the right path. You are always so positive, which helps everyone. That playful PM that you sent long ago, Telling me you were looking for me to show and already had people in mind to help, just that nice gesture forever changed my life.
Musicman & icandoitin08 for giving me hope
Kat my teammate...We can do this
And to everyone else for your stories and support...I am not alone

Hi Robert,

I was off the forum dealing with my pile of ******** last week but wanted to say thank you again! I have taken your advice and just handed this over to God and am letting the husband make his own decisions, no help or suggestions from me, I'm spent and $90k is ALOT of $$ to invest in a not so sure thing.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and just want you to know how much it means to me when you take your time to reply when I am having a hard time, you are an amazing person and we are all so grateful that you selflessly dedicate so much time to helping people on and off the forum. Thank you for everything, I can't say it enough, you're amazing!

Robert--experiencing addiction and the pain associated with it inevitably drove me to question everything about the world, my faith, God, etc...and the greatest compliment that I can pay to you is that you have reminded me that there still exists inmitigated good in the world and that we can achieve happiness in healthy ways--you are godsend, Robert, and I say without any hint of exaggeration. We are all better people because of you.
