Has anyone read this book by James Frey? Very powerful. I almost hate that it was made into an OPRAH book club,book because I am scared it will scare some people off.

I have the book but haven't had time to start reading it yet. I did see him on Oprah and just had to read his story.

Because some people shy away from her books. They tend to think the books she promotes are *feel good* books. Definitely not a feel good book. The description of the withdrawals he suffered through and getting a root canal with NO anesthesia are horrifying.
