Question Methadone to Suboxone Please HELP....

OMG I am so stressed out. I have talked to so many Dr. today and they have all told me different things. I am currently on 75mg of methadone and I made an appt to get on suboxone. I was told to make thursday morning my last dose. Then go all in on monday and they would start me on the sub. I hav heard so much ******** and everything I hear contradicts everything. I know everyone is different but i really don't know what to do. Anyone.....

I replied to your post on the other thread. ABSOLUTELY do not do this while you're at 75mg of methadone. You need to titrate down to 30mg or less first. DON'T make the switch yet. Who told you to do this while at 75mg?

yes i got the other msg. You are so right and i thank you for your time and for the useful info. I will not be doing this until I am able to get way down on the methadone. I know that is not going to be easy but at least I will have a private dr. starting this sunday.
