Methadone to oxycontin to sub?

ive been battling with addiction since i was 15 i am 26.Ive been going to the methadone clinic for 2 years straight at 110mg. a day.I had a bad experience with sub.i was still on methadone,and instead of dosing meth. the next day i took a sub,sent me int instant horrible wthdrawal.I started going back to the clinic.Well now i got the doc writin me oxys now to kill the withdrawals.well you know how you can go from opiates to methadone with no withdrawel? is that the same with the sub?My question is,will i withdraw from the oxys or will the sub. kill it like methadone does?ive been off methadone 14 days now.Someone plase help cause i dont want to stay on oxys too long and i also dont want to withdraw like i did!ANYONE with SUBOXONE experience!

..Whats up dr done, if you read the sub link you will see you need to be in w/d from your oxy's before you start the sub. Score a 26 on the cows sheet before you start. Talk to Robert about the proper induction when getting started. I think its all there in the link he provided for everyone. good luck!

thanx for responding so quickly.i am not on the sub. yet.i want to wait atleast 30 days to make sure the meth. is out my body so doc. is keeping me on oxy 40 and slowly weening me down.just got the script yesterday.And by the way i found me sum name brand oxys at a local pharmacist and instead of taking the 80 mg. 2-40's at once,which im prescribed,i only had to take one namebrand 40.I know the FDA say that the generics must have equal value to the namebrands,but i now know thats a load of ********, or is my body just different,
But Robert,i was just curious if i could go to the sub. fom these oxys.Day 15 off the meth. and as SOON as i start sub.which wont be very long from now,i promise you that ill have the COWS sheet filled out Mother an RN so ill get her to do the vital signs.I see u helping people get through this addiction and really appreciate you helping me.

You don't need to wait a month for the methadone to be gone. You go about three good days with no methadone or any other opiate including percs or whatever and I can induct you relatively painlessly. As long as you score a 26 on the COWS sheet that is foolproof I guarantee. Let me know when you're ready. You'll have to go into w/d anyway before induction. I would get it over with and begin.
