You may need to be examined by a physician first, make yourself an appt. with a GP or if you can see a specialist without referral see if you can get in to see a ortho or neurologist. Explain your situation when you make the appointment, and that it's urgent, you're out of pills and it's life threatening, and can you have your prescription records faxed to their office. Get their fax number, call your Dr. in N.H and authorize your files to be released.
Maybe you'll have better luck going into a local office and speaking to them face to face, bring your pill bottles with you. Going to an Urgent Care clinic or ER are options too.
Sometimes new doctors advertise in the newspaper that they're excepting new patients. If one doctor you call says they are booked up, ask if they know one they can refer you to.

Cats Meow is correct in what she is telling you for her suggestions. My suggestion is that a new primary or specialist is going to take a little bit to get into considering you are a new paitent. Why this is the way it is I dont know but it has always been that way. They make you wait a freakin month for a new patient appointment. I would suggest finding a doctor and making the appointment as a new patient and explain to them that it is urgent you are out of your meds they maybe can get you in a bit quicker. But if it is going to take a while to get you in then go to a urgent care or an ER and explain that you have already made an appointment with a new doctor and just moved there that it will take X amount of days before you get into the new doctor bit you are out of meds and that you just need enough medication to get you through until your doctors appointment. Maybe they can help you. I would try the urgent care first after making an appointment though why I say this is cuz I went to an ER while out of town when I forgot my meds and the ER told me they were not alould to write scripts for that that I had to have someone break into my house and mail me the meds. What help they were LOL. Hope these responses help you and good luck.

I Do not Guarentee Any Information Provided But I Will Be As Accurate As I Can.

Hi, have you tried a pain clinc?!! I have croinc pain ( back, sholders, and neck) I have a doc for just pain. Try to go to a primary doc and get a referel to a pain doc.! It's been a lifesaver they understand and want you to have a life. when you live in pain all the time you don't have a qualitiy life. That what pain docs try to do let you live a qualitiy life and control the pain.

PS> SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING GOOD LUCK
BLESSED BE!
