I was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and spent 13 days in the hospital, my stomach is in pain all the time. I have taken Percocet 10/325, and Lortab 10/650. I feel like I need the pills for my stomach but I feel as if I need to take more because of the pain, and because I am taken then daily. What do you think I should do? I had a problem with pain pills in the past and I don't want to go back to that but I already feel as if I am there. The doctors, the internet and friends say Pancreatitit is a serious illness. I need some advice.

About 3 years ago I had pancreanitis also. You wanna talk about having pain?! That had to be the worst pain I have ever felt. Just to be cautious I would continue to take the pain meds only as prescribed, and NO more! If u dont feel the need to take them for the pain skip a dose, just remind yourself what it was like when u were an addicted and what it took to quit. Also, make sure u keep ur pain under control as well. Hope this helps, somewhat!
