Default I have made it 3 days WHoT WhoT

So today Is day 3 for me and I feel good!! I have posted over the past few months and have tried to stop but never made it past day 2 I have been hooked on pain killers for almost a year.....I know I'm not cured and never will be but what a great feeling it is to wake up and be clean and actually smile. The hard part will be not giving in. I have to say though I have always heard about the crazy dreams people have during there wd's WOW is that ever true! ALSO I know some of you say that Immoudiom works and it might but for me I welcome the diarrhea I think it cleans out your system faster and it my case it has. Today at 72 hrs I feel good not great but I'm actually going to clean my house

Good for you! It's only going to get better and better, especially if you keep busy. I never heard of anyone welcoming diarrhea, lol, but that's looking at the bright side of things, if it works, that's fine. Keep it up.

I know right it sounds funny but I swear every time I would "quit" or should I say try I would get diarrhea then I would feel better shortly after almost as if it was getting out of my system just like they say to drink lots of water to flush it out kinda the same thing but another way lol on my way to day 4 YAEAHHHHHH

Diarrehea from withdrawals is not the same as it is for bacterial or viral infections. The opiates in Immodium do not cross the blood/Brain barrier,so
you will not get high from it. Diarrehea from withdrawals is due to the lack
of natural endorphins produced by your body in the pleasure centers of the
brain. Pain Killers leave a false imprint in the same areas, and when it's denied
withdrawals begin. If you suffer from a bacterial/Viral infection and it's
causing diarreha,it's usually a smart move not to take anything and let it run
it's course, and to drink plenty of liquids.

When I decided to get clean,I used Immodium for 3 days and it helped greatly.
I couldn't afford to spend all day at work in the bathroom.

Sounds like you are doing really well. I'm happy for you. Just one suggestion regarding the diarrhea. That leaves your body SO dehydrated which isn't good for a clean person let alone someone in detox. Drink lots of gatorade. It has lots of electrolytes in it, will make you feel better replenishing some of that which you are losing. God bless.

Default Keep Up The Good Work

Keep it up you are moving quick through the worst of the physical wd's. I also was hooked on vicodin for a little over a year and did a cold turkey like you did. Feel free to read my story at (Veteran Vicodin Addict). Yes the poops were the worst but it is only temporary and like Robert said keep hydrated. I dont know how bad your habit was at its peak I was up to 12-15 pills a day sometimes more. The worst part of the withdrawls for me were the muscle spasms, I used flexril a muscle relaxer to help with it but as I found out only time will end it for good.
I as glad to see you made it this far and I will be rooting for your success.
