Default hormone replacement therapy ( HRT )

Hi ,

im a guy of 34, so i dont no anything about HRT.....
Im sure il get lots of info from all u ladies out there....x

My mum was on HRT pills for 8 years and she has just come off them.. thing is she is crying all the time and seems very depressed...

i dont know what to do for her,

is there any pre med or alternative med i could get for her or if any one could just give me some tips on how i can be there and help her...
id appreciate it

I would recommend speaking to her doctor, the suddent stop of the hormone pills will cause major depressive problems in some people. She should have an alternative to use for awhile as her body adjusts or she should have been tapered off of them.

Since she isn't on birth control or the hormones anymore, you might want to consider St. John's Wart if you want a natural alternative. It does help with depression greatly.

she just totaly stoped taking them ,,, is that safe?? ... even tho shes depressed, st john wort isnt available in ireland anymore, anything else she can take??
