Default help with some vic answers

ive been taken vicodins for about five yrs. now and i want to quit. As everyoone whos been on them knows about the withdrawls and feelings, i tried many times to quit. i take anywhere from 30- 40 750,s a day. I wake up and the first thing i do is take 4, couple hours later ill take 7- 8, (yes at a time) so on throughout the day. MY question is what about mixing energy drinks with 2-3. will it have any messed up effects? i know my liver is probably shot already, but i need help BAD!! no doc. will see me with out insurance, and i dont have alot of money for that suboxone. i am completely lost and feel like im alone.

cool name...flava in ya ear...

anyway, first off if you are taking that much and cant stop, at least try to find some oxy...all that acetaminophen WILL KILL YOU!

second of all, I was in the same situation(no ins., broke from the addiction, etc), but guess what, you dont need alot of $ for sub, you just have to find a clinic and tell them you are unemployed, homeless, whatever. they will start the papers for you to get medicaid and in the meantime, they will give you sub, cheap. I paid nothing for my visits and $10 for 30 sub, which lasts 2-3 mos. damn good deal right.

If I knew I could get sub, without spending mad dough I would have stopped much sooner(maybe). But, help is available for you, you just gotta look (hard, because it is not common knowledge).

where are you at? pm me and I will try to help you find a place near you...

Default taper

Do you have someone that can help you taper? It can be done alone but you have to want to quit. If you cannot get into a free suboxone program then i would suggest tapering. Drop your usage by 3 pills aday....and continue dropping every 2-3 days...the lower you get you may not feel so good but you wont die. Clonidine is great when the WD's get real bad, and they are not expensive. There is a recipe for detoxing at home that i am sure dave will be along to post as i cannot seem to find it....
You can do this. YOu need personal strength and out side help such as NA or someone to talk to ....
Dont let $$$ get in the way of your recovery...because you deserve better than you are.

I am rooting for you

here you go mack...
343 places within 100 miles of battle creek...I am sure you can find one to treat you cheap/free...the first one in battle creek takes medicaid and has sliding scale pay, so it should be cheap and they should be able to help you get medicaid(not sure if they have sub though)...anyway this should help...

Unhappy Wow that's alot of pills at one time.

That's alot of pills a day and I thought I was bad. Well I am going through detox at home now 4 days in. but I was only taking 10 to 12 vic 500s a day. I dont have any insurance eather but I was lucky enough to have a Dr. that will let me make payments. I just want to say good luck. Anything can be done if you put your mind to it right? Well that's what I keep telling myself anyways. I am also rooting for you. If you dont back off that many pills is going to kill you. Hope you find something cheap that works and keep us posted.

P.S. My Man is holding mine to by the way he only gives me 6 a day if it wasnt for that there is no way I would be able to do it by myself. Do you have someone that can do that for you? My dr is only dropping my dose by 1 every 2 weeks. All my scripts from my dr only cost $50 Where as I was spending at least $200 a week on the street. So that was a big plus. Well as I said good luck when you start to drop just take things 1 min at a time. as you know it's not easy. Take care.
