While it's obviously ideal to be free of all medications while pregnant you have to take into consideration what stopping the medications will do to you. How much stress or what side effects will you experience stopping the medications and how will THAT affect the baby? Some w/d or detox side effects can be more harmful to a baby than having the mother taking the medications. The best advice is to discuss the affects of taking or stopping the medications with your dr who is familiar with your medical history and best able to determine what is the safest route for both the mother and the baby. Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope everything goes well for you both. God bless.

Starr,
Talk with your doctor about alternatives to use while your pregnant. I'm sure he will be more than happy to work with you in trying to find alternatives that you can both live with. Good luck with the pregnancy and congrats!
