    Default help am i ok

i did heroin last night for the first time ever. i did one line, i snorted it. it was fun. i was really drunk too. the next day (today) i was fine, until about 6 o'clock. my heart started racing i coulddn't breathe right, and i was so dizzy and confused. i told my parents and they told me to drink water and eat bananas--my dad is a doctor. he says i will probably be fine, but that heart beat (SVT) can kill you, and it ocud happen again. i think they are just trying to scare me, but i cant stop worrying.
is the next day effect normal/heard of?
    will i be okay?
what can i do, why did that happen?
    can it happen again?

No you are not even close to being ok.

I've never met you in my entire life, so you know I have no desire to control your life as your parents do.

My older brother is a crack addict and my younger brother is a crank addict. Let me tell you something, if you keep going the way you are, you will end up with heart disease and a very short/painful life.

You will spend months of your life in jail and/or rehab. You will always feel like a terrible person and never feel like you fit in unless you are high.

Your family members will hide their valuables whenever you come around.

There is an old english wisdom that is mostly lost to us americans, but I think it really applies here:

"Write down the advice of him who loves you, though you like it not at present"

My younger brother is an expert at crank. He would love to tell you all about it. He just got out of jail, so he's available. Let me know if you want to chat with him.

    I have taken :
    Paxil, Lexapro, Xanax, and Lithium

    Currently:
    450mg Eskalith CR (Lithium)

I was mis-diagnosed for 3 years. They thought I had Generalized Anxiety Disorder with a Major Depressive Episode. The real problem was Bipolar Disorder.

    Quit Lexapro cold-turkey Dec 22, 2005

Ask me anything, nothing is off-limits.

It could be just from having a hangover and doing the heroin together. Just a plain old hangover will work you over. I have never done heroin but I know from doing coke that the next day can be a b*tch. I beg you, please do not do to this yourself. You are young ( or so it seems) and trust me on this, being on drugs or being addicted to anything is not cool or fun. We all think we will be the one person who can enjoy this high and give it up. You will be very wrong. Embrace your life and your family. It is awesome that you can be so very honest with them so something is right with your life. Don't mess around with these hard drugs and live ( or not live ) to regret it.
