Default Help/Adivice

Over the past year and a half I have been on and off oxycodone (More on than off). I've had a few attempts to stop using suboxone, but after a few weeks at most began using the oxycodone again. I probably have what you would call a "lighter addiction," using anywhere from 15-100mgs of oxy a day. Over the past 3 months I've probably been closer to 90. Most of you know the feeling I'm talking about when i say im just TIRED of this and want to quit. My question to you is what is the best way to go about doing this? I am pretty sure I want to go the suboxone route, b/c it truly does relieve the w/d feeling. Between school/work i can't afford to go cold turkey and that sick. How should I schedule the suboxone use? Right now I'm only in possession of 4 suboxones. Will that be enough? Please give me any advice that will be helpful, I want to feel healthy again, and not have the pills run my life!

Hi -this is Linda and I would have to say that subs may be a bit of overkill for you . They are very strong and require a taper of 4 to 6 weeks or longer. Have you considered tapering off the Oxys?Read around the forum and talk with people . Whatever you choose there is plenty of support here . Good Luck
