I have been taking
Effexor XR and zopiclone for approx 3 years now and it is has helped me.
Current problem: B12 deficient oral supplements haven't helped, excessive bleeding during periods, extreme fatigue during periods and upper body pain, fatigue magnified x 10 during period. Was diagnosed with bilateral CTS and bilateral forearm RSI and using
Ibuprofen when needed. Questionable thoracic outlet syndrome. pelvic ultrasound results pending.
My physician and health care are aware of the meds I am taking. My body is soooo fatigued and my upper extremities so weak, I haven't gone into work x 2 weeks. I am awaiting another gp appointment this Friday and hopefully he will start B12 injections. I feel my preX B12 deficiency is not helping me with my arm/wrist/neck, shoulder symptoms and in fact I am concerned my B12 deficiency is the cause of or contributing to my overall symptoms. I am not a health care professional however, in my lay person point of view, I feel like my body is deteriorating and I am concerned I will have permanent neurological and musculoskeletal damage as my treatment for B12 deficiency, mennoraghia, etc., has been prolonged. I feel like I am slipping and the psychological problems are slowly coming back. I feel that no one is helping me with my physical symptoms. I know I have legitamate physical concerns am I am desperately trying to keep my psychological status "intact".
Issues:
1. Effexor XR and Ibuprofen as I just found out through this siete are not a good combo.
2. Mental Health
3. Physical health and treatment in a timely manner.
Question: Could long term use of my meds cause B12 deficiency? Why do I feel like no one understands how fatigued, weak I feel. It's affecting my daily living at work and home. I've tried to go into emerg on two occasions in between my gp appointments, but after sitting there for over six hours, I leave because they triage me as non urgent. My achiness, fatigue, overall body weakness is present daily and seems to be spreading to my low extremities. I have low back pain daily now and knee pain started this week. I have a congenital heart condition? which I am note sure if still present, however, would like to have my gp send me for stress test and ecg to rule out heart problems. I haven't had ecg's since my cardiologist treated me as a child and unable to obtain the records.
The only tests conducted so far is blood work and pelvic ultrasounds. Ops and EMG studies for bilateral arms/wrists.
