I'm feeling ok I thought about taking an extra sliver yesterday so I will stay on the 2.25mg for another day or so ( that time of the month) I always get antsy when I get them.
I am 46 and feel older then that but I've started to walk more and do yoga now and then and I stretch often, that has been a real help for me as I stiffen up alot too..I would suggest it if you can. You just need to make sure you start gentle and get some tips first I'm sure there are links on the net..
Yes it's good to have a list I should do that more often too as I get into see the doc and struggle to recall all the things I need to ask about until I walk out the door and drive off then it all comes flooding back ofcourse
take care, talk soon...Suzy/sookie Just a tip for both Jilly and Sookie. One thing that helps as you are going down on any opiate is a supplement calld D-Phenylalanine. Make sure you get the "D" and not the "DL" or "L", as they are 3 different things. The D-Phenyl stimulates edorphins, and has been around for years. You take it on an empty stomach.
This is something many folks take for pain, just by itself. There are many studies on it, and I am sure you can check it out further.
This certainly by any means does not ensure success in getting off sub, but could help at the right time.
Anytime you can move, we all knowl how much this helps! During my 1st 10 days off sub, I was able to move, and perhaps that's why I kept going in a positive direction.
After Day 11, I stayed in bed, and due to the heaviness, I was unable to fight thru it, and move!
Jay walks the dog, and I do as well. Any movement seems to be one of best things you can do. I don't need to say this, but thought I would reinforce it. Sometimes it's good to get a reminder, and remind myself!

Thor,
Thank you so much for this info. I have never heard of it before! Can you get it at the local health store or do you have to buy it online?
I can't thank you guys enough for the positive support you have for me and everyone on this site. It means a lot to me and I want to thank you again.
I want to make you aware if you are not already (which would be difficult as they are trying to make it a big topic) that a well thought of member has an issue with me. I refuse to enter into their argument even though they continue to try and draw me into a heated debate.
For the record, I spoke my position pertaining to the thread and my anonymous post a long time ago and I am not going debate with them just to pacify them. I am simply stating here that I am going to focus on my health and leave the negativity alone. I was warned that this would happen and I am prepared spiritually and mentally to fight the good fight.
SO...off to the neuro doc today to see about the change over and on to my better health!
Thanks Thor and Jay for your support and posting! And, let's hope Denny is home from the hospital and feeling better!!
Best to you all,
Jilly
