Finally Off Dope

I've just joined, I was lookin up about meds. and found this forum. I had 2 join! I've been on heroin 4 over 30yrs, NOTHING worked 4 me till I found saboxon. Been clean since Dec. now Ive been feeling irritable for a while until i read this colum i didnt know that it was a side effect i read alot of good advice in this forum. Its nice to know that there are others out there going threw the same thing as i am As for the comment left about drugs addicts being some of the smartest people around...i couldnt agree more we have to be smart to have survied the nightmare of drug addiction! Congrats to you for finally kicking smack. I am looking into and planning on going on Sub in a few weeks. I will be transferring from Methadone, so it will not be as easy as transferring from some other types of opiates, but from these forums I have learned it is possible. It is so good to hear success stories. It gives me hope. And hope is what I need. Thanks for sharing the good news!!

Congrats on getting off of methadone. Sub is definitly the way to go. They are tring to help by giving us the methadone but in the long run it is harder to get off that then the dope! Im talking from years of experience methodone is just another habit, and as soon as ur off of that the first thing we do is go and get high it just a substatute i have no respect for methodone and wouldnt recomend it to anyone but on the other hand i would recomend the Sub to anyone who has a habit they cant kick! I considered myself a lost cause never ever would get clean i couldnt even remeber what it felt like to be sober and then i found this, i have heard it called THE MIRACLE DRUG AND I COULDNT AGREE MORE!
