    Default Expectations from here.....

    Hello,

I had been on this forum once before a few months ago but failed to quit. I had been on about 60-90 mg's of roxicet for roughly 8 months. Daily (morning noon night) for roughly 5 months.

I stopped 3 weeks ago for 5 full days ct. But then went back to same mgs. I have now been off them for 5 full days again and most of my w/d have subsided, I believe to the help of heavy doses of immodium and vitamins (thats all i take). My sleep is much better also. However I still get the shakes and anxiety for 1/2 hour here or a 1/2 hour there a few times daily. I would like anyones thoughts on how much longer I will have to endure this. I know every day gets better but I just want to not think about it and move on. Mentally i'm fine but i just want that random anxiousness to go. I have no desire to use or anything, just want to be at full strength!

I believe that the 5 day break 3 weeks ago has made this w/d easier, as well as heavy doses of immodium.

Any input would be appreciated. 5 days and counting....

LiLGUY, Good to hear things are slowly getting better. As far as how long the odds and ends will last, well it differs for each person. But, I would tell you this, you used for a while and therefore, it will take a while for your body to get back to normal. Think of it this way, your body has been out of sync for some time and as it trys to sync back up, there are going to be times where you get a little hiccup (yours being the shakes). What you will see is things and hiccups will start to work themselves out. I would recommend to try to eat healthy, stay away from caffiene and get some good cardio in each day. These things will expadite healing.. Congrats on the clean time! All my best, Reid
