Drug testing

I am currently seeing a pain management doctor and he is going to do a urine sample on me. I have been using marijuana for many years but he is not aware of that.

1. Do i have the right to decline the urine sample?
2. Can they watch me pee?
3. What will happen when they find the marijuana?

1. you can decline anything you want to decline

2. they can watch you pee if you allow them to

3. what they do if when they find the pot depends on the dr. If you deline to do what they ask about the other things it may never get to worrying about the marijuana anyway.

Pain management drs as a rule don't appreciate anyone dictating new rules to them. You go along with them or you have to find another dr most of the time. Good luck and God bless.

I think if you just tell your doc that you smoke pot and it helps you sleep it would be alright. Most doctors ar not too worried about marijuana. Their main concern is what their clients do with their scripts. My doc knows im an addict and i just keep it 100% with him. So i suggest u just tell him whats up. The truth is the best. Plus it takes forever for thc to get outta your system and those detox drinks have never worked for me.
