Dropping to 6mgs subs sunday

Hey guys off the subs since Sept 3 Im doing great Had one day that was kind of bad but Im find and on vacation.I could not do it anymore.I had to feel what I done to myself.I was really scare the subs would be a problem.No I just really got headaches and rls thru the whole body.Im good and glad I came here for yalls help.Im done with subs and dope.Thanks for helping me.My wife is so proud of me.Im clean clean clean

pitbull ..... Way to go! You have done one fantastic job getting clean. You asked, you listened, and you followed directions. I know you are glad that there are people like Henry on this forum. He saw you were in real trouble and he stuck with you.

Mike N.M.R.N. .... 1st question: Cheeky is correct. You just can't set a time when you will be ready to start the Subs, you must use the COWS worksheet. And you need to be at a score of 26 or greater.

2nd question: If the doctor writes you a script for 30 - 8mg strips that most likely will be enough to get you through a 2 month taper. It's really difficult to figure just how much you are going to use each day as you taper down. But my best guess is that will be enough.

3rd question: If the doctor inducts you on 8mg, then I would advise you to drop to the 4mg the next day. Then I would suggest for you to follow the taper plan as it's written after that. Stay on your dose of 4mg for 4 or so days. (some take it to 5, 6, 7, or even 8 days or longer) Then reduce your dose by 25% wait for 4 days or so, and reduce by 25% again until you are down to .50, .25, or 0.50 or whatever you want to jump from. Or you could use the skipping-days process.

I understand your frustrations with all of this. I am not a doctor, and I am not the expert on this. I am only speaking from experience. Robert 325, and Henry NCBA are the true experts, along with several others.

I abused opiates for 35 years and used Suboxone and the taper program exactly as it's written to get to almost 2 months clean. Hope this helps. God Bless....Denny

hey denny. good on ya for tryin with nothisrealname, but he did have his own thread, and yet again, blew me, and in fact everyone here up, for being a cult and not jumping right to attention and answering him promptly and not 'holding his hand thru the whole thing' apparently he is on subs now. and says he is out of here. just so you know. we try and help, but thats not good enough for him.

You dah man! I commend you and honestly you are the first guy I have seen jump from 1mg and manage to hold it together. Hopefully that half life won't start to kick you in the rear. Today being the 7th and you being clean since the 3rd puts you at 4 days clean and right about this time things should start kicking in if it is going to that is. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you buddy.
You hang in there and enjoy your vacation! You deserve some good times after going through all this!

Here it is Monday 12th all is good guys.I feel good- great I mean.I want to just let out a scream I DID IT If I can do it most can.I was such a wuss ( lol whos the wuss now Henry ?) in the beginning.Thats funny.Hey world Dan is back.I got my truck and camper.We had a blast.Thats living life to extreme.Who needs a f,,king pill.Its great to feel great.The wds only there when I let them.I refuse them and the demons and I feel like superman.WOW Henry the man its a pleasure to write your name.You was right I hung tuff I made it.Like to challenge a few to hang like I did.Its worth just getting clean.Its a buzz for real waking up and feeling prutty good.This is really the way to live clean clean clean.No suboxone or demon pills to start the day.I cant wait to show off my truck now.Only 1 at work knows why I got my new wheels others just think what they want.Well folks got to go to work I will be back thats a promise.Mircles happen on this forum dont u want to be one???

That's beautiful Pitt. I like the idea of challenging others to do as you have and get clean. What a feeling of accomplishment you must have. You have made one of the best turn-arounds I have ever seen. Where you started and where you ended up is amazing!

Way to go buddy! You are a true inspiration to all that read your posts. You fought one heck of a tough battle and you made it. You stuck by your guns and beat the bad guys and are reaping the benefits from it. I saw the photos of your new truck and trailer that I know that you and your wife are totally enjoying and rightfully so. Great reward for yourself for a job well done. Kind of scary isn’t it that back about half a year ago or so you thought that your life was doomed. Frustrated, angry, scared, confused, not knowing which way to go or what to do and all the other intense feelings and sensations that cripple you from even just trying to function normally. Always knew you could do it though and there was never any doubt in my mind. You got my respect my friend!
