Now I know for narcotics such as oxycontin/vicodin/heroin/meth/etc they release dopamine, causing all the pleasurable side effects of the drug, And ecstasy(MDMA)/MDA/MDE release Serotonin causing the pleasurable effects of that drug, now I have 2 questions here;

A) What is the difference between the release of Dopamine vs Serotonin?

B) If speed based drugs(meth,amphetamines) release the same chemical (Dopamine) as downers(opiates) how come it is a speedy high vs the down high?


I know these questions might be retarded to an educated person in medicine or chemistry but I work in Advertising/PR so I know nothing about it, ty guys
