Does anyone know what this means (on drug test strip)?

I bought a case of 32 Methadone drug test strips from a laboratory a couple weeks ago when I had an inkling that I was going to get drug tested by a new employer. Since I stopped taking the drug on Thursday morning, the tests have come out positive. The test shows positive by the Control having a line next to it and the Test line being blank. Well, this afternoon I took the test and, for the first time, the T line showed a faint strip. It has been three days since I took the drug. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but WD's have been aweful and you try to hold on to any hope that you can. I am hoping that over the next two days the T line will come in bright and clear, just like the Control line does. Does anyone have any experience with what's happening here? Are the drugs starting to go from my system?

Also, lets say they are negative on Tuesday, should I wait for one or two days after to make sure I pee clean for the drug test? I don't know if they just do the screening there and send it away if something looks suspicious, or if it will automatically go to a lab....which will have lower threshholds for testing.

A faint line means that you have it in your system not alot but it is still showing up postive. How many do you take and for how long. This will make a difference in testing. Do you have a prescription for this medication? All these are important to know when testing. Methadone has a half life. It can take up to 56 hours for half this drug to leave your system. So if you take 1 10mg. tablet it will take approximately 30 hrs to clear your blood. So this depends on alot of factors. But a faint line means it is still showing postive in your urine.
