what makes a norco difer from vicoden why is norco prefered with addicts?

I cannot find a real difference, they are both available with a max of 10mgs of Hydrocodone. I suppose it really depends on which kind you can get, certain drug manufacturers have better quality control, and therefore better drugs than other manufacturers.

It's because Norco only has 325 mg of acetaminophen, Vicodin, Lortabs, etc. usually have 500mg or more. Acetaminophen in large doses and especially with alcohol will destroy your liver. I don't know why they don't make a pure hydrocodone pill, with no apap in it?
