Denny's ill again - in hospital

Just wanted to post this thread cos I'm afraid you might miss it. Go to Denny's thread 'I am back, resting comfortably at home'. He isn't resting comfortably - he's in hospital again cos knee got infected again and sounds like he will have another operation. He has asked for prayers thoughts whatever. He's scared as anyone would be ...Don't post here (except to bump this message) - post in his thread to him. This is just so awful and unfair. Love Jay xx

Jay and Friends ..... Thank you so much Jay for beginning this thread. That was the absolute nicest things I have ever been a part of. And thanks to every one of all the knid people of the forum.

I have made a post just a few minutes ago on my other thread about being now home again and resting. You may read my comments there if you choose rather than me making a duplicate post.

Hi Denny!

I just wanted to introduce myself (formally, I guess??), and wish you well in your recover from surgery. I read your thread and oh my gosh I cannot believe what you have been through in the last couple of weeks.

I'm sure you gathered that I don't post very often, but I do lurk quite a bit, and 3 years ago, Robert, Mel, and MM, and several others (some still here, some not) helped me get clean. Way back in the day, lol. Anyway, I am going through some stuff with my husband, also an addict (which you may have read about on other threads), and decided I needed to hear/read/post my peeps again. I've been free of drugs for three years, but have been living with an addict the entire time, not an easy feat, and quite the head spinner.

Just wanted to give you a shout out and shoot you a prayer (for you AND your leg).

HW ..... Very nice to meet you as well! And Thank you so much for stopping by and offering me your Prayers. I sure do need them. I have indeed been reading about you and want to offer you my congratulations for your clean time!

Three years clean time is an awesome avhievement! I'm so sorry to hear and read about the troubles with your husband. I hope and will Pray that they do indeed work themselves out for you.
