    From my experience - time!
I know that answer stinks, but it is true. You will slowly re-align - it just takes time.

I agree with MOT. The only things I would add would be limit caffiene if you are drinking pop or coffee. Start looking at what you are putting in your body and help it (your body) sync up. But, as MOT said time is the biggie. Stay Well...... CA

Adam ...... time will help definitely. We use drugs for years or even months and we're clean for six days and think we should feel "right" again? You can work out, do things that help build the body back with endorphine production, but it just ISN'T reasonable to expect it to be fair that you'll be well in six days after using for years or even months.

Accept the fact that you're going to have to work at this. It just doesn't work to expect ourselves to be healed in a matter of days, that isn't even reasonable.

Adam ..... we've talked for months over and again about this and the one thing that is a fact is that if you don't use every day will get better. No one ever said that you'll be well in 6 days, 30 days, or 60 days. You may take a good while to heal, but it's a fact that if you don't use you will get better day by day especially when you let go and believe in something bigger than yourself.

Hang in there buddy. God bless.

I agree with Tom and Robert. It's going to take some time. I still get the jerks when I lay in bed it's going on a month for me. I have noticed though when I go swimming I have a much easier time at night plus I do some light streaching, You might want to look it to trying some Yoga. I mean do it for about hour, It might help relax your muscles some.
It get's better but it take time a lot of time.
    God Bless.

Sounds like you are still experiencing withdrawl symptoms. The major part (being sick) is over but from experience i can tell you that it takes longer than that. Six days is great. Be proud of yourself that you made it this far. I was tense and jerky in bed for a while after kickin morphine, oxy, lortab..etc. Almost like you wanna run in bed. Somewhat like restless legs but its not. The last thing you dont want to do is medicate yourself with another addictive drug ( xanax or valium). That will lead only to another addiction you have to kick that is just as hard. I kicked my Klonopin(also very hard) and am now on Seroquel. Klonopin is in the same class as xanax. Exercise can help but dont do it before bed as it can wind you up and you will not be able to sleep. Time and patience. Even though your physical symptoms seem to be over they are not. In addition, your brain needs time to heal too. At this point in time, it would be very easy for you to relapse so like i said before - be proud you got this far. Take every day you are clean like a good day. One day at a time. White light and strength to you.
