I took Paxil and Xanax for several yeras. For the most part they stopped my anxiety and panic attacks. Once those went away I wasn't as depressed. Recently I lost my job of 30 years and started feeling really anxious again. My regular Dr. sent me to a shrink. He changed me to Cymbalta, Wellbutrin and Clonazepam. I have been on this change for about 3months with the Cymbalta and Clonazepam and 1 month on Wellbutrin. I still feel a little anxiuousness which sends me into worrying about panic attacks which scares the hell out of me. Is anyone else out there taking any of these? I hear that Wellbutrin has an anxiety side effect. It doesn't make sense to me to be taking this if my main problem is anxiety? I think that the Wellbutrin helps with the sexual problems that the other drugs cause. Does anyone else take these meds? Can you give me any explanations. I want to dicuss this with my Doc on my next visit. Thanks

I am on wellbutrin and lorazepam. I was initally on paxil as well to help with the anxiety. I don't find wellbutrin to help me with anxiety as I still get it. I find the lorazepam to have a calming effect and assist with the anxiety and nervousness. I don't know if this is of any help, but I can appreciate what you are going through!
