    Default cymbalta and percocet?

i was wondering if anyone is taking cymbalta and percecet for pain? my doctor prescribed cybalta to go along with my percecet to see if maybe it helps with my back pain, the percecet by itself only takes the edge off, so he keeps trying other things with it, he wanted to give me soma again, but i told him they make me too tirerd and spacey, so he put me on cymbalta, and lowered my percecet from 4 to 3 a day. ive been on it a week now, i take right at bedtime, so i have the least amount of side effects. so far i dont notice any pain relief, if anything im taking more percecets, because the cybalta seems to make the percocets not work, can anyone relate? my main problem is 24/7 pain, i dont want to take a pill if it makes the pain pills not work, or maybe it will change, advice anyone??

    HI LEANA
FIRST OF ALL I DON'T KNOW THE ANSER TO YOUR QUESTION, BUT I DID READ ONE OF YOUR OTHER LETTERS. I REALLY FEEL FOR YOU, AND CAN CERTAINLY RELATE TO YOUR BACK PAIN. I HURT MY BACK 12 YEARS AGO AT WORK, AND HAD SURGERY WHICH MADE THINGS WORST. THIS INJURY HAS REALLY CHANGED MY LIFE, OR I SHOULD SAY HAS CHANGED ME. USED TO BE SO HAPPY, AND FULL OF LIFE. NOW MOST DAYS I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GET OUT OF BED, BUT HAVE TO. HAVE A WIFE AND DAUGHTER THAT DEPENEDS ON ME, SO THERE ARE THINGS I NEED TO DO EVERY DAY WEATHER I FEEL LIKE IT OR NOT.AND NOW I SEEM TO HAVE A BAD CASE OF THE BLUES, NOTHING SEEMS TO MATTER OTHER THAN ENDING THIS PAIN. AS FAR AS THINGS THAT USED TO BE ENJOYING,THIS PAIN HAS ROBBED ME OF THAT. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A PAIN CLINIC? I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AT ONE NEXT WEEK, I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I'M IN FOR THERE. I KNOW IT'S HARD BUT HANG IN THERE, MAYBE THERE IS HOPE FOR PEOPLE LIKE US. NEW DRUGS, NEW TREATMENTS, E.T.C. IF YOU EVER FEEL LIKE TALKING FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL ME AT
