Default Concerned Mother

My 13 yr. old daughter left her purse in our hot truck window, & I figured her make-up would be melted. so, I took out the melted make-up & started to wipe out the inside of the purse, & found a neon yellow tablet that had been cut in half. It had to be cut with a pill cutter, because it was straight and not jagged on the edges. The pill is neon yellow & the first letter is an "L" and has the start of what looks like possibly the #4 (unsure). Please help direct me towards the right named of this pill, I had no luck with the drug book. Thank You for your time.
Sincerly,
Chasity Guthrie

Hey chasity, I will be glad to look in some books also for you. My sister is a nurse and may can help. I can't imagine finding that and not knowing what it is. I have a son 14 and step-son 12 and my 14 can be a handful sometimes. I give it a try. -mommamia

Hi Chastity,
The pill is made by Perrigo and sold over the counter. I found six yellow ones that started with L 4XX. One is caffeine (round L 409) and the others are antihistamine/cold type remedies with various shapes and L XXX as the imprint codes.

I found this on another forum it may be of some help...

This is an aptly titled thread. My son (14) seems always on the edge of drug issues. We occassionally find evidence of pot use - we test him but have never had a positive testresults and he always has some explanation.

Last night will preparing the laundry, I found a baggie with half a dozen trazodone pills... he is at a friend's house overnight but we will be picking him up this morning. He will deny use - maybe even knowledge - of these pills. I don't know how to reach him. I don't trust that he is being honest. Yet, I can't be sure that he is lying.

I could really use some help - I feel that he is on a bad road but don't even know how "far down the road" he is.

Thanks. Beth

BLOOD TEST, my simple answer when I was a kid was I was in a room full of smokers, yeah right, me being the supplier. Pills are not a good sign, see how he reacts and watches you after you question him. Don't throw them in the normal bin, he will find them.
